An update regarding the trailer for Ram Pothineni's long-awaited film Double Ismart was released by the production team. It has been confirmed that the trailer will be released on August 4 at a massive trailer launch event at Gurajada Kalakshetram in Vizag. August 15 is when the film opens on theatres.

Double Ismart to release on August 15

As the sequel to the critically acclaimed Ram Pothineni film Ismart Shankar, which debuted at the box office and is currently available for streaming on ZEE5, Double Ismart is one of the most anticipated films in Telugu theatres. Puri Jaganadh and Charmee Kaur are co-producing the film under the banner of Puri Connects. Sanjay Dutt plays the antagonist in this film, and Kavya Thapar, one of the female leads, has a really interesting part. The action drama was abruptly cancelled due to financial concerns, even though a large portion of filming had been completed. This year, the film's producers also made several changes to the original release date. The soundtrack for this movie was composed by Mani Sharma, and the two tracks that were released recently are huge hits.

The movie's theatrical rights have been acquired by Prime Show Entertainments. We now know that Double Ismart's OTT rights were acquired by Amazon Prime Video. It was also reported that Amazon paid an astounding Rs 33 crore to acquire the film's rights in all four of the southern languages.
