Dominique movie plot overview
Dominique is a highly skilled assassin, who is trying to leave her dangerous past behind. She is flying a plane just when something goes wrong, and now she is forced to land in a small town in Colombia. This town is not peaceful; it's a place where violence is common.
A kind family takes her in and tries to protect her. But the police are looking for her, and they want to arrest her by any means. Now, Dominique must decide what to do. Should she only think about herself and try to survive, or should she fight to protect the family that has helped her? It's a tough choice, and her decision will have big consequences.
Actress Maurice Compte explains how the action drama empowers women
Back in October 2024, lead actress Maurice Compte, who played Dominique, the assassin, shared some interesting facts about the movie with Bleeding Cool News portal. She stated that the script intrigued and helped her very much to sign the movie.
“The script and the message the film is sending intrigued me, considering everything happening now in the world, especially with Ukraine. I was intrigued by the opportunity to do a film that not only empowered women but also was culturally representative of the potential women who are fighting alongside their men in the Ukraine right now”, Maurice shared.
Maurice also told Bleeding Cool News that the action-thriller drama highly empowers women. She shared that the most difficult parts of the shooting for her were the fighting scenes. As the movie is quite intense, she used to ask every actor whether they are okay or not after every fighting sequence.
