Malayalam actor and producer Mammootty has been delivering hits back-to-back, while choosing a variety of scripts and roles. At the same time, we had earlier reported that Mammootty will be starring in the upcoming Malayalam film titled Dominic and the Ladies' Purse. The makers on Wednesday released the much-awaited teaser of the film.

Dominic and the Ladies' Purse is an upcoming Malayalam film featuring Mammootty in the lead role. The film is written and directed by filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon and is touted to be an action thriller. Dominic and the Ladies' Purse is backed by Mammootty's home banner Mammotty Kampany.

The teaser begins with Mammootty teaching a man about how to defend himself under a situation of attack, as he demonstrates some moves. The short teaser majorly comprises of Mammmotty teaching the man as he narrates the steps he can do safeguard himself. We hear a peppy background score. The teaser ends with the men waiting for a man they consider who they can easily overpower.

It is to be noted that Dominic and the Ladies' Purse marks the maiden directorial venture for Gautham Vasudev Menon in Malayalam. However, the filmmaker has appeared in Malayalam films like Naam, Trance, and Sesham Mike-il Fathima.

Dominic and the Ladies' Purse release date

The makers of the Mammootty-starrer did not disclose the release date of the film. However, it is expected that the film will hit theatres early 2025. Apart from Mammootty, the movie features Gokul Suresh, Sushmita Bhat, Viji Venkitesh, Vineeth, Vijay Babu and others. According to the grapevine, the Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial reportedly revolves around an investigation, which has a mysterious ladies’ purse as its prime evidence.

The technical crew consists of story penned by Neeraj Rajan, with him working alongside Gautham Menon, and Sooraj Rajan on the screenplay and dialogues. The camera is cranked by Vishnu R Dev and Anthony is the editor. Darbua Siva has scored the music.
