Divya Dutta talks about the deleted scene from Chhaava

A deleted scene from Chhaava, where Divya Dutta's character Rajmata Soyarabai gets scolded for plotting against Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, played by Vicky Kaushal, has taken social media by storm.

In a recent chat with Mid-Day, Divya shared her thoughts, saying, “My director (Laxman Utekar) is such a nice guy. He expressed his regrets about this situation. It was all about the length and other factors. I can't really dive into the filmmaking process and how it connects with the audience.”

Thinking about her character's complexity and the positive reception of the film, the actress shared, "I really need to look at the bigger picture here—this film is a huge success, and I'm getting so much love. I’d definitely want that scene included. I hope it makes it to OTT, but if it doesn’t, I believe it’s already out there for everyone to enjoy. So, I’m happy with what I’ve got, and everything’s great."
