Venkatesh has teamed up with Anil Ravipudi for the third time in his career for a family drama filled with comedy and suspense. Filming is 90% complete, and the makers have announced that the dubbing process is already underway, with Venkatesh dubbing for his role.

Double Trouble for Dil Raju: Game Changer and Venkatesh starrer to clash for Sankranthi 2025

During the launch of the film, the makers confirmed a Sankranthi 2025 release. Dil Raju is producing the film, but the twist is that another one of his productions, Game Changer, is also scheduled for release during the same Sankranthi season on January 10, 2025. 

This means two of Dil Raju’s major films will clash within the same week. Reports suggest that Dil Raju approached Venkatesh and director Anil Ravipudi to consider postponing their film, but Venkatesh disagreed, believing that their family drama is an ideal festive watch and perfectly suited for Sankranthi 2025.

Since family dramas are popular during the festive season, Venkatesh feels Sankranthi is the optimal time for release. With no changes likely, Dil Raju is now preparing to release both films within the same week. He and his team are reportedly considering January 12, 2025, as the release date for Venkatesh’s film, giving him two additional days to promote it.

This will be a rare instance of a producer releasing two of his films at the same time. Dil Raju is in a big dilemma as to how to go about this situation and is holding discussions with a few other producers in the industry. Game Changer stars, Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, while Venkatesh’s film features Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
