The debate regarding the OTT release of the film Daaku Maharaaj, featuring Urvashi Rautela and Nandamuri Balakrishna, has evolved. Earlier reports indicated that Netflix had removed Urvashi's scenes from the film, leading to widespread speculation and curiosity. Nevertheless, we have obtained updated information that provides clarity on this situation.

Putting the rumours to rest

Daaku Maharaaj is set to premiere on Netflix on February 21. The announcement poster sparked considerable speculation when social media users noted the absence of Urvashi Rautela. This led to rumours suggesting that the streaming service had removed her scenes from the film just before its release.

However, according to reliable sources, these claims are unfounded. "The reports regarding Urvashi's scenes are entirely false. There is no truth to these allegations. Netflix has not made any cuts. The same version of Daaku Maharaaj that was shown in theatres will be available on OTT," the source stated.

The source emphasized that the film has not undergone any edits for its digital release, assuring that "every scene that was part of the theatrical version will be included in the online release."
