More than two years after it was first meant to be in theatres, actor Dhruva Sarja’s next, Martin, has zeroed in on October 11 for its release. It’s a date that the makers have repeatedly claimed they will stick to, irrespective of the issues faced in post-production, including the delays in VFX work, which has been attributed as a major reason for the film’s late arrival in theatres.
The film is only 2 weeks away from hitting theatres and so far, barring a teaser, a trailer that had more or less the same visuals as the teaser, and a romantic number, there’s been no other promotional material from the team. In fact, the song, Jeeva Neene, came out 3 weeks ago. There was a promise of a second trailer, but there’s been no word on that.
The team is currently in the process of finalizing distribution partners for the various markets in India and overseas, with most yet to be finalized. Amid all this came rumours that the film’s release is likely to get pushed, as the post-production work (VFX) is still ongoing and that the team has not received the final copy. Censor certification process is also yet to be begin, say sources.
