Devara: The Jr NTR starrer creates a new US box office record even before its release

Devara is one of the most-awaited films in Indian cinema as Jr NTR has teamed up with Koratala Siva after a long gap and is also the star hero's next film after RRR. There is a massive buzz for this film which is up for a release on September 27, 2024.
Devara latest US collections
The bookings have opened in the US and tickets are being sold like hotcakes. As per the latest update, Devara Part 1 has made 1.75 million dollars. Close to 40,000 tickets have been sold and this is a new record in itself as no Indian film has collected the said amount to date ever.
There are still ten days to go for the release and the trade is expecting at least 2.5 million before the film comes out. Koratala Siva has directed this film which is being released in two parts. Janhvi Kapoor is playing the female lead in this film and it is her Telugu debut.

The songs have caught on quite well but the trailer has received a mixed response. The makers are planning to release a new trailer for the film to take the buzz higher. In a few days from now, the bookings will also open in India and some big numbers are being expected on day one.
Saif Ali Khan also makes his Telugu debut with this film which has music by Anirudh. There is a lot of pressure on Jr NTR to deliver with Devara as his last solo release was six years ago. He has worked hard on this film where he plays a double role.
