After the massive success of RRR, actor Jr NTR is back with another mind-blowing film, Devara: Part-1. It is touted as the biggest action entertainer of the year in Indian cinema. The film has been making quiet headlines since its announcement and the star-cast revelation. Bollywood actors Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan will be making their Telugu debuts with the Jr NTR film. Saif will be seen as the antagonist named Bhaira. On September 22, the makers dropped the second trailer of Devara: Part-1, which went viral within a few hours on social media.

Netizens’ reaction to Devara Release Trailer

As Devara: Part-1 is considered a Pan-Indian film, hence not only the Telugu audiences but also netizens across the nation are going gaga over the action drama already. The first trailer was dropped a few days ago and has garnered 8.5 million views. Now after the second trailer’s release, fans can't keep calm. They have been trying to draw comparisons between the two trailers.

One X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, “#DevaraReleaseTrailer is good! Much better than the first trailer! This trailer raises your curiosity about the plot and the twists and story of betrayal and revenge!” while another wrote, “#Devara 2nd Trailer Did Me Wrong Thing, 1st Trailer Disappointed Me A Lot But This Trailer Literally It's A Biggest Action Blockbuster Loading.”

A few netizens have also compared the visuals between the two trailers. One of the users wrote on X, “@RathnaveluDop visuals in #Devara Release Trailer are raw poetry - intense, powerful, and stunning. Every frame drips with emotion and energy.” Another netizen highlighted some points about Devara that the visuals and background music don't sync well. According to the user, even dialogues are below average. The tweet wrote, “Zero goosebump movement Only Anirudh can save the movie.”

Devara: Part 1 plot details

Devara unfolds as a gripping action drama, set against the vibrant period of 1980s to 1990s coastal India. The story centers around Devara, a larger-than-life figure hailing from a village, whose unwavering courage drives him to venture into a dangerous journey into the vast sea. Compelled by a deep sense of duty and loyalty, Devara must fight against all odds to shield his community from the ruthless force.

However, a more sinister situation lurks in shadow, when his brother, Bhaira, secretly makes a web of deceit and betrayal, fuelled by dark ambitions and hunger for power. Directed by Koratala Siva, the Telugu drama, Devara: Part-1 is slated to release in theatres, on September 27, 2024. The action drama also stars Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srinakth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Murali Sharma.
