Devara Part 1 had to click at any cost as Koratala Siva scored a massive flop with Chiranjeevi's Acharya. He was trolled brutally by the mega fans and went into hiding. He worked hard on the script and started the film with Jr NTR as the lead. The action drama was released on September 27, 2024, and opened to mixed reviews from all over.

But as there was no other biggie that was released, Devara managed to start with a bang. So far, the film has crossed the Rs 115 crore mark in the Telugu states. If it touches the Rs 10 crore mark, it will be in the safe zone and all the parties involved will see massive profits.

When it comes to the US, Devara has grossed just over 5.5 million dollars and is still going strong. As the Dussehra holidays are on now, the collections have once again picked up. The occupancy for Devara in the interiors of Telugu states is top-notch.
Jr NTR is super thrilled with the success and says that he was super tensed as to what the output of the film would be. But luckily, his hard work has paid off as Devara has grossed over Rs 400 crore at the box office. Anirudh is one of the key factors for the film to take such a start at the box office.
The makers were planning to hold a massive event but they have decided not to go ahead as the crowds are going out of control at these events. Jr NTR also added in one of his interviews that the pressure to deliver with Devara Part 2 has touched the roof and they need to work extra hard to live up to all the hype created.
