Devara Part 1 was released on September 27, 2024, and ended as a smash hit at the box office. The Jr NTR film has wrapped up 16 days of its run and has amassed a whopping Rs 500 crore gross today, which is a record for any Jr NTR solo film to date.

The Koratala Siva film has broken even in all its areas of release and whatever it makes from tomorrow, it will be profits for the distributors. In Telugu, Naga Vamsi, the popular producer has bagged the rights and he is seeing solid profits for the film.

There was a lot of pressure on the film to deliver as Koratala Siva's last film, Acharya was a massive flop and Jr NTR did not have a single solo release in the last six years. But Devara has lived up to all the hype despite the mixed talk on the first day of its release.

In the US, Devara has made just over 6 million dollars which is a record in itself. In Telugu states too, Devara has made close to Rs 130 crore share which is huge. The action drama was sold for exorbitant rates ahead of the film's release but the sheer power of NTR has made sure that the film made big money at the box office.

Anirudh is one of the biggest stars of the film as his music and BGM have taken things to another level altogether. NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts have jointly produced this film whose OTT rights have been bagged by Netflix.

The news is that Devara will be streamed in November 2024, on Netflix. For now, the film is in no mood to slow down and is impressing its target audience in the interiors of Telugu states. Watch this space for more updates.
