One of this year's most anticipated films is Devara: Part 1. Billed as a pan-India project, the film stars Jr. NTR in the leading role, along with Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal parts. Devara, produced by Yuvasudha Arts and N. T. R. Arts, is set to hit theatres in October. Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has now teamed up with AA Films to secure the rights to distribute the film in North India, which will greatly expand the film's theatrical distribution beyond the local Telugu market.

KJo announced the news on his social media pages, stating that a massive hurricane is bringing more spectacular entertainment than ever before. The filmmaker is deeply grateful and honoured to have been a part of Devara, the film featuring "Man of Masses" Jr NTR. The North has announced its theatrical distribution rights for the next big thing in Indian cinema, and they couldn't be more excited and proud.

Devara Part 1: Overview and cast

Koratala Siva wrote and directed the action drama film Devara: Part 1. Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, and Prakash Raj also make appearances in this film. In April 2021, Jr. NTR made an official announcement about the first of two parts of a film with the working title NTR 30. It would be his 30th film with the lead role. In May 2023, they revealed the official title. The film went on floors in Hyderabad in April 2023, then moved to Goa as planned. A. Sreekar Prasad is editing the film, with R. Rathnavelu behind the cinematography and Anirudh Ravichander creating the score.

With Devara, Janhvi makes her debut down south and in Telugu cinema. The actor also shared her first look from the film a few days ago, on her birthday. Meanwhile, Saif makes his full-fledged Telugu debut in the film.

Devara: Part 1's theatrical release coincides with Dussehra on October 10, 2024.
