Jr NTR is returning to the silver screens after the massive success of RRR, with the upcoming mass action film Devara. The movie, which marks the Telugu superstar’s reunion with popular filmmaker Koratala Siva, has been making headlines lately with the release of its melodious second single, ‘Chuttamalle’. As per the recent updates, Jr NTR is currently busy with the shooting of an electrifying number for the film, which is being planned as the ‘opening’ song sequence.

Rathanavelu ISC, the director of photography of Devara, recently took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle and dropped a location picture, along with a special revelation. “Filming a kick ass opening song from @anirudhofficial. Devara with a raw visual style.What an electrifying movement with sheer grace n style @tarak9999. Fans will go berserk!,” reads the X post of the senior cinematographer. In his post, the crew member also confirmed that Ganesh Acharya is handling the song choreography.

Devara songs: Here’s what we know

Along with the first single, which is named the ‘Fear song’ and the second single – romantic number Chuttamalle featuring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, Devara is expected to have a couple more songs. Earlier, it was reported that the lead pair shot a high-voltage, glamorous dance number for the film, at a famous film city in Hyderabad. Now, it is also confirmed that the Telugu superstar is set to have an electrifying opening song as well. Anirudh Ravichander composed both the songs and the original score for the Devara music album.

As mentioned before, Devara Part 1 is set to hit the theatres on September 27, 2024. Jr NTR appears as the titular character Deva in the Koratala Siva directorial. Janhvi Kapoor appears as Deva’s lady love Thankam in the film, which stars Saif Ali Khan in the role of lead antagonist Bhaira. Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shruti Marate, Narain, Shine Tom Chacko, Kalaiyarasan, Abhimayu Singh, and essay the supporting roles. A Sreekar Prasad handles the editing. The project is getting a pan-Indian release across the globe in five languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
