After 'Kalki' from Tollywood, Pan India movie 'Devara' released with the highest expectations. The film greeted the audience on September 27. Although the talk is a little bit here and there.. this film has made huge collections in the opening weekend. After that it seemed to be a little dull. The movie is still running. Otherwise the current collections are nominal. Although the name is a Pan India movie, 'Devara' earned major collections from the Telugu version. More than 80 percent of the collections came from Telugu. In addition to two Telugu states, the Telugu version was a hit in the US and Karnataka. But elsewhere in the South, 'Devara' did not make much of an impact. Tamil people did not pay much attention to 'Devara'. There collections are nominal. In Malayalam too, the situation is extreme.

'Devara' made an impact not in Telugu but only in Hindi. This movie got a hit range there. Released without much buzz, the Hindi version of 'Devara' got a good response from the masses. 'Devara' grossed over Rs 25 crores in the first weekend. Looking at that momentum, will it reach the hundred crore mark? There was a discussion. But 'Devara' has managed to collect Rs.65 crores in Hindi so far. But this is not a small number either. 'Devara' did not find any buzz in North India before its release. Advance bookings appeared to be nominal. But the movie stood strong at the box office from the first day. It is remarkable to achieve this collection with a movie with average content. Devara in Telugu has given benefits to buyers in many places. It has just broken even in some areas. Overall, 'Devara' got a satisfactory result...!
