Deva Box Office Collection Day 3: The film Deva, featuring Shahid Kapoor, has garnered significant attention recently, with fans eagerly anticipating its release. Discussions surrounding Shahid's return to cinema after nearly a year, Rosshan Andrrews' Hindi film debut following his success in the South Indian film industry, and rumors regarding its status as a remake of Mumbai Police have dominated the headlines. The cop drama has achieved an impressive collection over its opening weekend, marking a successful start.

Deva Box Office Update

Deva Box Office Update: The anticipation surrounding Shahid Kapoor's film, especially when compared to the already successful Akshay Kumar starrer, has been palpable. Deva tells the story of a police officer who loses his memory and embarks on a quest to recover it, benefiting from robust promotional efforts, including a well-received teaser, trailer, and soundtrack. Following a solid performance in its initial two days, the film has experienced a notable increase in box office collections.

According to reports from Sacnilk, Deva has generated ₹7.59 crore net at the domestic box office, bringing its total earnings to ₹19.49 crore. This represents an 18.59% increase in collections compared to the first two days, a commendable achievement. The film also features Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati in significant roles alongside Kapoor.

In terms of global earnings, Deva has surpassed the ₹20 crore milestone, with ₹6.4 crore gross from international markets and ₹14.35 crore gross from India, totaling ₹20.75 crore. While the overseas figures may not be particularly strong, the film must maintain its momentum to match or exceed the success of Sky Force.

On Sunday, the Hindi occupancy for the film was recorded at 5.34%. Among various cities, Chennai and Bengaluru exhibited the highest occupancy rates, achieving 41.50% and 20.25%, respectively. Mumbai followed with an occupancy of 18.75%, while both Hyderabad and Pune reported rates of 17.75% each.

The film Deva is presently showing in theaters.
