Deva's global box office earnings on its first day: The debut Hindi film by Malayalam director Rosshan Andrrews, titled Deva, premiered in cinemas on January 31. They stated, "Preparing to become a global phenomenon, and this is merely Day 1," indicating that the film garnered ₹6.82 crore gross in India and ₹10.31 crore gross globally on its opening day. Sacnilk has reported that the film Deva generated a net revenue of ₹5.5 crore and a gross revenue of ₹6.60 crore within India, while its worldwide earnings reached ₹7.50 crore, which includes ₹90 lakh from international markets. For comparison, Deva's predecessor, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, achieved a worldwide opening day revenue of ₹13.50 crore, as stated by the website. The film with the highest opening for the actor remains Kabir Singh, which amassed ₹26.50 crore globally on its first day.

About Deva

Deva narrates the tale of ACP Dev Ambre, portrayed by Shahid, a womanizing and impulsive police officer who suffers from memory loss while investigating the circumstances surrounding his friend's death. This film is a remake of Roshan's 2013 production, Mumbai Police, though significant alterations were made to the script, especially regarding the climax.
