One such movie that is now getting a second life on streaming is Destroyer. Destroyer now joins this impressive lineup and is set to release on the platform.

Directed by Karyn Kusama, Destroyer stars Nicole Kidman, Toby Kebbell, Sebastian Stan, and Tatiana Maslany. The film has been added to the upcoming movie list on Lionsgate Play's official platform. While there is no confirmed release date yet, it is expected to hit the platform in September. Once released, it will be available to watch with your OTTplay Premium subscription.

Nicole Kidman on Playing the Role

Nicole Kidman, with her illustrious career, has played some of the most intriguing roles, and she considers her part in Destroyer as another addition to that streak. "I just wanted her to be real," says Kidman. "Just give me a woman who has not taken care of herself at all, who has drunk a lot, who has done drugs, who has had no self-care and no self-love, and who sometimes sleeps in her car. She doesn’t sleep much, she medicates, and she is in a rough place. She is hanging on for dear life, she is surly, and she is pissed off."

According to Inews, Kidman spoke about how she immediately jumped at the opportunity to play the role. “With this kind of movie, you don’t offer a huge paycheck,” says Kusama, 50. “So, for her to say: ‘I need to explore this character, I want to know her better,’ it’s hard not to pay attention when an actor of that caliber approaches you.”
