What will happen in episode 2?

Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka wanted to stay out of the important Hashira meetings and training the future Hashiras, claiming that he is not the real Water Hashira. His back story will be explored a little more this time. Tanjiro Kamado will meet the very man who saved him from his sister Nezuko when she turned a demon. Kagaya Ubuyashiki, who is on death bed, convinces Tanjiro to talk to Tomioka and convince him to join the movement led by the Hashiras. While Tanjiro tries his best to unravel Tomioka’s dark secret, the latter is at crossroads on how to deal with the situation best. Meanwhile, Tanjiro joins the training along with Inosuke and Zenitsu.

What happened in episode 1?

Nezuko is the only demon to survive sunlight. This makes Muzan think he can be immortal if he can devour her. Having realized that, the Hashiras are doing everything in their power to stop him. They are training to get better and give him tough competition when the time comes. The secret behind Mitsuri Kanroji and Muichiro Tokito’s marks were revealed, and the link to Tanjiro was explained. Uzui Tengen, who played the biggest role in Entertainment District Arc, was also back in the episode. This set the tone for what is to come this season, and how important all the events are. The plot was a part of Demon Slayer: To The Hashira Training movie, and the story is finally moving forward.
