Deliver Us movie plot overview
Once upon a time, a wise person said that a woman would give birth to two sons, who would look exactly alike. While one of them would be a great saviour and called Messiah, the other would be devilish and anti-Christ. When a Russian nun named Sister Yulia reveals that she’s pregnant with two baby boys without a father, this news surprises the whole town, especially the church leaders in the Vatican City. They soon send some priests to find out if the prophecy is true.
Meanwhile, at the same time, a secret group schemes to stop these babies from being born, as according to the prophecy, these babies are dangerous to the society, and must be killed as soon as possible. However, a kind priest from the US learns about the situation. To stop this group of people from hurting those babies, he helps Sister Yulia escape.
Actor Lee Roy Knuz’s experience doing a nude scene in a religious horror drama
Back in 2023, when the movie, Deliver Us had its Los Angeles premiere in September, the lead actor Lee Roy Knuz shared some interesting experiences while working on the movie. While talking to Goldderby news portal, Knuz admitted that it was quite hectic to portray a nude scene, that too in a movie that delves into religion.
Lee Roy Knuz told Goldderby, “That was probably the hardest thing I have ever done as an actor. We had female nudity so we could not just shoot it with me covered up. I think it added a lot, after he is done what he is done, to then be so broken and vulnerable. It’s very Adam and Eve, seeing each other’s nakedness for the first time and accepting all the flaws.”
