Is Ryan Reynolds Lady Deadpool?

At the recent global press conference of Deadpool & Wolverine, Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, and director Shawn Levy were all present. When the theory that Ryan is Lady Deadpool was mentioned, the Logan star called it his favorite theory of all. Ryan was quick to reply (via Comic Book Movie), "As if I could...My hips, they lie like hell. Those hips don't lie. Oh yeah, I was on set with her and she's...that is a red jaguar coming at us." This prompted director Levy to barge in and say, "Let's say no more. Let's say no more."

In a separate interview, as per the same portal, Ryan Reynolds spoke about Lady Deadpool, saying, "I love listening to the conspiracy theories about who it could be, and my favorite one that traveled quite a bit was they think it was me. I don’t know how I could do that with my hips; I cannot walk like that to save my life. My shoulders are absurdly broad for a suit like that, so no, it is not me.”

Deadpool & Wolverine is set to release on the big screen on July 26, 2024.
