Badass Ravikumar vs Loveyapa box office collection day 6: Keith Gomes' Badass Ravikumar, featuring Himesh Reshammiya in the lead role, and Advait Chandan's Loveyapa, starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, premiered in theatres last Friday. As reported by Sacnilk, both films have struggled to surpass the ₹10 crore threshold during their first six days of release.

Box Office Performance of Badass Ravikumar and Loveyapa  

Initial estimates indicate that Badass Ravikumar earned ₹0.54 crore, while Loveyapa did not generate any revenue on Wednesday. Badass Ravikumar debuted with ₹2.75 crore and accumulated ₹2 crore and ₹1.4 crore over the weekend. However, its earnings declined throughout the week, with Monday's collection at ₹0.6 crore and approximately ₹0.5 crore on Tuesday. In contrast, Loveyapa opened to ₹1.15 crore, earning ₹1.65 crore and ₹1.75 crore over the weekend. Its Monday collection was ₹0.55 crore, followed by ₹0.51 crore on Tuesday.

Overview of the Films  

Loveyapa, produced by Madhu Mantena and Srishti Behl's Phantom Films, marks the theatrical debut of Junaid Khan, the elder son of Aamir Khan, and Khushi Kapoor, the younger daughter of the late Sridevi. Both newcomers previously appeared in Siddharth P Malhotra's 2024 period drama Maharaj and Zoya Akhtar's 2023 period coming-of-age musical The Archies on Netflix India, respectively. The narrative of Loveyapa centres on a couple who are compelled to exchange their phones by the girl's father. The film also features Ashutosh Rana and Kiku Sharda in supporting roles.

Badass Ravikumar, produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, includes a cast of notable actors such as Prabhu Deva, Kirti Kulhari, Simona J, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sanjay Mishra, and Johnny Lever in supporting roles. This musical action film serves as a spin-off of the 2014 movie The Xposé and represents the second instalment in The Xposé Universe.

With Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna's Chhaava set to release in theatres on February 14, it remains to be seen how these two films will perform at the box office.
