Aerial action drama Sky Force experienced its initial decline in box office earnings on Monday. The film, featuring Akshay Kumar and introducing Veer Pahariya, had garnered more than ₹60 crore during its opening weekend. On Monday, it contributed an additional ₹6.25 crore to its total, moving closer to the ₹100-crore milestone.

On the fourth day following its release, which was the first Monday, it was anticipated that Sky Force would experience a decline in its box office collections. Given that this first Monday followed the Republic Day holiday, a significant drop was expected. This prediction proved accurate, as reported by Sacnilk, which indicated that Sky Force faced a considerable decrease of 77% in its earnings. On Monday, the film garnered ₹6.25 crore, a stark contrast to the ₹28 crore it earned on Sunday.

As of now, Sky Force's total domestic nett collection has reached ₹68.50 crore after four days. This figure is based on preliminary estimates and may exceed ₹75 crore once the official numbers are disclosed by the producers on Tuesday afternoon.

Sky Force has performed quite successfully in international markets as well, generating $800,000 during its initial opening weekend and contributing over ₹6.5 crore to its total earnings. Within its first four days, the film has amassed an estimated ₹90 crore globally. Notably, there was significant growth in ticket sales on the second and third days, attributed to favourable word of mouth. The filmmakers are now optimistic about a rebound on Tuesday following a decline in revenue on Monday.

Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, Sky Force draws inspiration from the Sargodha airbase assault during the Indo-Pakistani air conflict of 1965. In addition to Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, the film features prominent performances by Sara Ali Khan and Sharad Kelkar, along with a cameo appearance by Nimrat Kaur.
