The week leading up to Valentine's Day has become a competitive arena for Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's film Loveyapa and Himesh Reshammiya's Badass Ravikumar. Contrary to expectations, the latter is currently leading in this cinematic contest, particularly as both films represent the latest releases from Bollywood. Although Loveyapa has made significant strides towards surpassing its rival, it has not yet achieved that goal. Monday proved to be underwhelming for both films, with the exception that Himesh Reshammiya has managed to surpass his previous records. Here are the details.

Himesh Reshammiya beats his own record

Himesh Reshammiya's Badass Ravikumar has exceeded the lifetime Box Office earnings of his earlier films. On its fourth day, the movie generated Rs. 10.74 crore, surpassing the collections of his previous works, including Karzzzz, Happy Hardy And Heer, Kajraare, Radio, and Damadamm! He is now only Rs. 1.8 crore short of establishing a new Box Office record for himself by surpassing the earnings of Teraa Surroor, The Xpose, and Aap Ka Suroor.

Loveyapa comes close to beating Badass Ravikumar

Badass Ravikumar outperformed Loveyapa during its opening weekend, generating Rs. 6.15 crore compared to Loveyapa's Rs. 4.55 crore. However, on the following Monday, Badass Ravikumar earned Rs. 53 lakh, while Loveyapa garnered Rs. 47 lakh, as reported by Sacnilk.

Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release dominates the box office

Despite the competition between Badass Ravikumar and Loveyapa, the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam has emerged as a standout success. In just four days, the film featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane has earned Rs. 18.50 crore, which is twice its original lifetime total of Rs. 9 crore from nine years ago. Clearly, Sanam Teri Kasam is poised for significant success, aiming for five times its original earnings by the conclusion of the first week. However, the landscape may shift with the release of Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava in theatres this Friday, February 14, coinciding with Valentine's Day.
