According to the report, the film garnered a net collection of ₹22.5 crore across all languages, based on preliminary estimates. On Sunday, Daaku Maharaaj achieved an overall Telugu occupancy rate of 65.92%.

In addition to Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bobby Deol, the film also stars Urvashi Rautela, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and Chandhini Chowdary. Titled "Daaku Maharaaj," the film is both written and directed by Bobby Kolli, with production handled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya. The musical score is composed by S Thaman. The film premiered in theatres on January 12.

Within this action-packed narrative, Nandamuri Balakrishna portrays the titular dacoit known as 'Daaku Maharaaj,' who develops a close bond with a young girl and spends quality time with her. Bobby Deol plays the antagonist, inflicting suffering upon the local populace.

Why was the film's recent event cancelled?

Recently, the film's production company, Sithara Entertainments, announced the cancellation of a pre-release event in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. This decision was made in response to the tragic stampede at the Tirupati temple, which resulted in six fatalities.

In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), they expressed, “In light of the recent events in Tirupati, our team is profoundly affected by the tragic incident that has transpired. It is heartbreaking to witness such an occurrence at the Lord Venkateswara temple—a site of devotion and hope for millions and a treasured aspect of our family traditions.”

They further stated, “Under the current circumstances, we believe it is inappropriate to proceed with the #DaakuMaharaaj Pre-Release Event as originally scheduled. With a heavy heart and deep respect for the devotion and sentiments of the community, we have made the decision to cancel today’s event. We appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging time.”
