Daveed, the Malayalam action film released in theaters in February 2025, is now poised to make its debut on streaming platforms. Directed by Govind Vishnu, the film features prominent actors such as Antony Varghese Pepe, Lijomol Jose, and Saiju Kurup in key roles. It will be available exclusively on ZEE5 starting April 18.

ZEE5, which secured the post-theatrical streaming rights for the 2025 Malayalam film Identity, has also obtained another Malayalam title. The platform will premiere the sports drama Daveed, which will be available for streaming from April 18.
In his directorial debut, Govind Vishnu helms the film, which tells the story of a former boxer who, after facing setbacks, undergoes a significant transformation upon returning to the ring. Set against the scenic backdrop of Fort Kochi, the film features Lijomol Jose as his wife and blends elements of action, emotion, and humor.

Produced by Century Max John & Mary Productions and Panorama Studios, the film has received positive reviews. Cinematography was handled by Salu K. Thomas, with editing by Rakesh Cherumadam, and the musical score was composed by Justin Varghese.
