Bangladeshi director Rashed Raha is all set to bring a web film that talks about the charm of Bengal. The film will stream on the Bangladeshi web platform Bongo BD. His web film is named Kolkata Diaries. Sreelekha Mitra and Darshana Banik are playing two important roles here. Bangladeshi actor Shifat Amin is also in the film. 

In an interview with Anandabazar Online, Rashed said, “There were many incidents filmed, which were not noticed by the Kolkata people. Such an incident involves Anamika, Sharma, and PK. Their names are imaginary but the incident is true. I also saw that many people in Bangladesh do not completely know Kolkata. Its beauty is unknown to them. I saw these aspects in my film.” It is produced by Big R Entertainment Production. 

Khairul Bashar Nirjhor wrote the story, screenplay, and dialogue. The story is about Anamika, who is a divorcee and a self-made successful entrepreneur. Sharmi works in her office. Through Sharmi, Anamika meets Bangladeshi standup comedian PK. He came to Kolkata to perform in a show and Sharmi takes Anamika to him. Will Anamika have a new relationship? The director did not reveal that. The film will have the answer. 

Rashed was happy working with Sreelekha and Darshana. He previously worked with Sreelekha and liked her frankness. Anamika is also like that and hence Rashed chose Sreelekha for the role. Santilal Mukherjee and Abhijit Guha are in other roles. The shooting took place in New Town and Rajarhat.
