HanuMan was a smash hit at the box office and made close to Rs 320 crores worldwide. The makers of HanuMan, Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy, are out with their new film Darling. Featuring Priyadarshi and Nabha Natesh in lead roles, Darling hit the screens on July 19, 2024.

Darling four day collections

From the first show itself, the film started with a very bad word of mouth and is also out of a few theaters in Telugu states. We at OTTplay bring you the detailed collections of the film. As per the latest update, Darling has made only Rs 1.1 crore share from its first weekend in Telugu states.

The occupancy on a key Monday is almost 40% as per the trade. That means Darling will not many much on Monday and will be out of theaters by tomorrow. The film was made on a low budget, and the pre-release business was locked at Rs 7 crore.

But looking at the way the film is performing, it will be very hard for the film to even cross Rs 2.5 crore in the days to come. The film needs to make at least Rs 5 crore to be in the safe zone, but that is unlikely to happen.

Darling cast and crew details

Aswin Raam has directed the film which is a romantic comedy. Nabha Natesh made a comeback to the silver screen after a gap of two years. She plays a woman with multiple personality disorder and did not impress the audience with her performance.

Some even said that Nabha was miscast in the film. Disney + Hotstar has bagged the digital rights to the film, and there is news that Darling will be out on OTT in less than three weeks. Let's see what happens.
