The Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently in the process of building a new range of shows and films to distance themselves from the series of content that received criticism and a very lukewarm response. After multiple duds and shows that didn’t quite land, they are being careful about what they present. One of the most prominent shows in the making, with the responsibility to help the MCU bounce back to its former glory, is Daredevil: Born Again. Bringing back Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock.

About the Man Without Fear and the attorney who fought the evil in the dark underbelly of his world, the show has become one of the most anticipated since its confirmation. Turns out, we now have the first look at the new Marvel show, and that one gaze is enough to make you trust the material. read on to know everything you should about this most exciting update of the day.

Daredevil: Born Again First Official Footage Is Here

Yes, you read that right. After months and months of watching leaked behind-the-scenes footage from Daredevil: Born Again, to the extent that we thought we might end up watching the entire show in bad-quality set videos, the first official glimpse at the show is here. The Walt Disney Company held its Annual Meeting of Shareholders this week. This meeting is where the studios under the Walt Disney umbrella showcase and elaborate on the content that is about to grace the audience in the upcoming year.

The same happened this year, and Walt Disney Company heads had a video, a kind of teaser, of what’s to come in the upcoming year. The video was exciting, but it soon got fiery when an unexpected glimpse appeared for a second or two. It was none other than the mighty Daredevil from Daredevil: Born Again, and the shareholders were the first ones to witness an official glimpse of the show and the characters. The video made it to the mainstream, and now we can rejoice in it too.

The said glimpse for Daredevil: Born Again was literally a few seconds, but it offered so much. A bloodied Man Without Fear was seen looking at the camera and rocking his cunning smile. If that wasn’t enough, a closer look revealed that this could be the most authentic Daredevil suit, closest to the comics in years. What also stood out were those red, popping eyes. The glimpse was enough to send waves of excitement not just across the room at the meeting, but across the world. You can check the glimpse out below.

Daredevil: Born Again To Have Multiple Seasons?

While the Marvel bosses have been vocal about the importance of the show starring Charlie Cox in the lead, they have been tight-lipped about most things. While the leaked news has a lot to offer, nothing is reality until it comes from the horse’s mouth. So Daredevil: Born Again takes the story forward from the Netflix show, and the seasons from that are now canon too (as per Vincent D’Onofrio). So the curiosity now is around how many seasons the studio has planned for Born Again.

Well, if the latest rumors coming from a scooper at MCM Culture are to go by, Marvel already has plans for two seasons of Daredevil: Born Again. This means the Man Without Fear will return for a second season too, and we have a whole lot of Matt Murdock content waiting for us.

The Behind The Scenes

We have seen a lot and gotten confirmation on almost all the castings from the leaked videos from the sets of Daredevil: Born Again. While the White Tiger news, with the additional cast, and fight/chase sequences has already been confirmed, the latest one was the confirmation of Jon Bernthal reprising The Punisher, aka Frank Castle, for the Marvel Cinematic Universe show. The pictures of him from the set where he was seen shooting with Charlie Cox made the most buzz. The latest one shows him sitting with Charlie and Deborah Ann Woll between scenes.

Daredevil: Born Again Release Date & Format

The confusion around the format of Daredevil: Born Again deserves a separate dissection. The latest rumors said that the Marvel Cinematic Universe show will have 18 episodes divided into two volumes of nine each. There is no confirmation on this, though. Additionally, the show is eyeing a 2025 release. There is no date or month attached as of now. Meanwhile, we should expect the first trailer or poster anytime soon.
