Six years ago, Netflix cancelled one of its most popular superhero shows, Daredevil, after a three-season run. And it wasn’t until a good four years later that Disney+ announced its revival, with Charlie Cox returning to play the visually-impaired defender of Hell’s Kitchen. 

The first teaser of the upcoming show was released earlier and in only 30 seconds puts the focus on the primary conflict of the tale – Daredevil vs Kingpin aka Wilson Fisk, played by Vincent D’Onofrio. Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher is also back this season. Muse will also be one of the antagonists. Charlie Cox made his return as the character he played for three seasons and 39 episodes in She: Hulk, which had a mixed reception from audiences.

Daredevil Born Again will, reportedly have a nine-episode run, which is part of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will begin streaming on Disney+ on March 4, 2025. Viewers in India will be able to watch it on Disney+ Hotstar.

Daredevil Born Again is one of 7 shows that have been announced as part of Marvel television’s slate for 2025. Also joining the masked vigilante of Hell’s Kitchen are Ironheart, What If…? Season 3, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Eyes of Wakanda (a four-part Black Panther animated anthology miniseries), Marvel Zombies, and live-action Wonder Man.

What If…? Season 3 will be the first to drop on December 22, 2024, followed by Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man on January 25, 2025. This will be followed by Daredevil Born Again in March, Ironheart in June and Eyes of Wakanda in August. Marvel Zombies will be in October and Wonder Man in December.
