It looks like Daaku Maharaaj is set to hit Netflix for streaming on February 9, 2025. There are still a few talks happening about the digital release, but this date seems pretty locked in. We should be hearing an official word from the creators soon.

Directed by Bobby Kolli, this film came with a hefty budget of ₹110 crore. While the action drama has already hit the safe zone, it still hasn't quite broken even in some areas. Interestingly, the producers decided against raising ticket prices for the Balakrishna-starrer and seem pretty happy with the box office results.

Sources say that Netflix forked out more than ₹25 crore to grab the film's digital rights. Urvashi Rautela took on the female lead role, which was crucial to the plot. On the other hand, Bobby Deol, who made his Telugu debut here, faced some backlash for his underwhelming role, leaving fans a bit let down.

Balakrishna's fans are super excited because Daaku Maharaaj is his fourth hit in a row. The way he picks scripts that fit his age and vibe has really won over both fans and critics.

Thaman composed the music for Daaku Maharaaj, and many are saying the score is one of the film's standout features. With the Sankranthi holidays boosting its box office numbers, the film had a great run. Without that holiday boost, it might have struggled as a typical action drama outside of festival time.
