Daaku Maharaaj, the recently released Telugu film featuring actor Nandamuri Balakrishna in the principal role, has made its debut on OTT platforms. The film is now available for streaming on Netflix and can be enjoyed in several languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Daaku Maharaaj out on OTT

Nandamuri Balakrishna, a prominent Telugu actor with a substantial fan following, known affectionately as Balayya, stars in the 2025 film Daaku Maharaaj. Initially released in theaters during the Sankranthi festival, the film has now transitioned to OTT following its successful run. The film has generated considerable buzz, particularly for its song "Dabidi Dibidi," and is currently accessible on Netflix in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Directed by Bobby Kolli, this action drama is produced by Sitara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, and Srikara Studios. The film boasts a diverse cast, including Urvashi Rautela, Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, Rishi, Chandini Chowdary, Pradeep Rawat, Sachin Khedekar, Shine Tom Chacko, Viswant Duddumpudi, Aadukalam Naren, and Ravi Kishan. Notably, the choreography of the song "Dabidi Dibidi," featuring Urvashi Rautela and Nandamuri Balakrishna, has attracted significant attention. However, the recent removal of Urvashi's image from the film's promotional poster has sparked discussions among social media users.

Is Daaku Maharaaj a successful theatrical venture?

While the film did not achieve the expected box office performance typical of a star-studded release during the Sankranthi festival, the producers have secured a profit. The digital rights were sold for Rs 40 crore, and the film grossed Rs 87 crore during its theatrical run.

Daaku Maharaaj is both written and directed by Bobby Kolli, with music composed by S Thaman. The cinematography was handled by Vijay Karthik Kannan, and the editing was done by Ruben and Niranjan Devaramane. Viewers can stream Daaku Maharaaj on Netflix this weekend.
