Daaku Maharaaj is the latest film featuring Balakrishna, directed by Bobby Kolli, and it has achieved significant success at the box office. Previously, OTTplay reported that the film was scheduled to stream on February 9, 2025. However, this release did not occur, and fans are now eagerly anticipating its arrival on Netflix, which has acquired the digital rights for a substantial sum.

Daaku Maharaaj OTT release update

As per information from the film's production team, Daaku Maharaaj will not be available for streaming until March 4, 2025. The filmmakers have entered into an agreement with Netflix to delay the OTT release until the film has completed 50 days in theaters. Currently, the film is still showing in select theaters and has garnered nearly Rs 87 crore net, a commendable figure.

Directed on a grand scale by Bobby Kolli, the film is produced by Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments. Initial reports indicated that Netflix had made a significant financial commitment for an early OTT release; however, a last-minute alteration in the agreement has postponed its streaming debut to early March 2025.

Speculations galore regarding Daaku Maharaaj OTT release date

There are ongoing speculations on social media suggesting that Daaku Maharaaj may premiere on Netflix on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2025. Although this information remains unconfirmed, it has gained considerable traction online.

In the film, Balakrishna delivers a dynamic performance, showcasing a unique persona, while Thaman’s background score enhances the film's dramatic impact. Key roles are played by Shraddha Srinath and Chandini Chowdary, with Pragya Jaiswal starring as the female lead.

The film was also released in Hindi but did not perform well, resulting in a significant box office failure. Currently, Balakrishna is engaged in the production of his next film, Akhanda 2, directed by Boyapati Sreenu, with recent scenes filmed at the ongoing Kumbh Mela 2025.
