Actor Dulquer Salmaan initially gained recognition in Malayalam cinema, but he has recently expanded his repertoire to include Tamil and Telugu films. Following the success of projects such as Lucky Baskhar and Sita Ramam, he has received numerous offers from various film industries and has also revealed plans for several Tamil and Telugu productions. Nevertheless, some critics have pointed out that he has not yet made a return to Malayalam cinema. In response to inquiries regarding this matter, Dulquer Salmaan announced his upcoming Malayalam film titled I'm Game, which will be directed by filmmaker Nahas Hidhayath, on Saturday.

Dulquer Salmaan was last featured in a Malayalam film in 2023, titled King of Kotha. Unfortunately, the film did not perform well at the box office, prompting Dulquer to shift his focus to Telugu cinema. His fans have been eagerly urging him to return to Malayalam films. On Saturday, Dulquer Salmaan revealed his new project in collaboration with Nahas Hidhayath, which has been named I'm Game.

This forthcoming film is directed by Nahas Hidhayath, recognized for his work on RDX: Robert Dony Xavier, a film that was released concurrently with King of Kotha and triumphed during the Onam season. The poster for the film features a close-up of a man's hands, which, despite appearing refined with a watch and ring, also display a significant scar and blood wounds, while one hand holds a cricket ball and the other a card.

All we know about I'm Game so far

I'm Game features a story by Nahas, with the screenplay crafted by Sajeer Baba, Bilal Moidu, and Ismail Aboobacker. The musical score is composed by Jakes Bejoy. The film is set to be released in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, although a specific release date has yet to be confirmed. It is noteworthy that I’m Game marks Dulquer Salmaan’s 40th project as a leading actor.

In the meantime, Dulquer was recently seen in the Telugu film Lucky Baskhar, which is currently available for streaming on Netflix. This film is directed by Venky Atluri. Additionally, he is involved in upcoming projects titled Kaantha and Aakasam Lo Oka Tara.
