The fourth instalment of the Tamil horror-comedy franchise Dhilluku Dhuddu has been announced! Starring Santhanam in the lead role, the third part is titled DD Next Level. The first-look poster was revealed on Santhanam's birthday, Tuesday.

Actor-comedian Santhanam, whose recent film Madha Gaja Raja has been a success, revealed the first-look poster of his upcoming film DD Next Level, the fourth instalment in the Dhilluku Dhuddu horror-comedy franchise.

The shooting of DD Next Level is progressing quickly and is in its final stages. The film is slated for release in May. Produced by Niharika Entertainment and The Show People with a large budget, the film will be presented by actor Arya. Directed by S. Prem Anand, who also helmed DD Returns, the film stars Santhanam, Gautham Menon, Selvaraghavan, Yashika Anand, Rajendran, and others.

Director Prem Anand shared his excitement about the film, saying, "Following the massive success of DD Returns, which received a great response from audiences of all ages, we spent a year perfecting the script for its sequel. We’re confident that this movie will bring joy and laughter to everyone, from children to adults."

The story of DD Next Level begins on a cruise ship and unfolds on an island. The film features cinematography by Dipak Kumar Padhy, music by Ofro, editing by Bharath, and art direction by AR Mohan.

Where to watch Dhilluku Dhuddu on OTT?

Dhilluku Dhuddu is a 2016 horror-comedy directed by Rambala, starring Santhanam in the lead role. The film, available on SunNXT and the OTTplay Premium app, follows a couple in love despite the girl's father's objections. However, their plans take a turn when the couple is invited to a haunted house, where things take a frightening twist.

Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 is available on ZEE5, with Santhanam and the director once again coming together. The film is a spiritual sequel. DD Returns was released in 2023 and is a standalone sequel, which is available on Disney+ Hotstar.
