Cross OTT release date: When and where to watch the Alex Cross novel series adaptation

Aldis Hodge, who played Hawkman in The Rock’s Black Adam, is headlining the American crime thriller series Cross. Based on the Alex Cross novel series by best-selling author James Patterson, Cross has been adapted for TV by Ben Watkins. Ahead of the crime thriller series’ upcoming release the official trailer was dropped, in which Aldis, as Alex Cross is hot on the trail of a killer.
Cross on Prime
According to an official synopsis, the series follows Alex Cross, a detective, forensic psychologist, doting father and family man, and his obsession with digging into the minds of killers and victims in order to identify the victims and catch the perpetrators. Season 1 of the show, with all 8 episodes, is set to drop on Amazon Prime Video worldwide on November 14. The show has already been renewed for a second season.
Cross also stars Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford, and Ryan Eggold. In the trailer, Aldis’ Cross investigates a killer who tortures his victims before ending their lives. Still dealing with the loss of his wife, Cross juggles his personal and professional life, only to find that the perp is going after the detective and his family.
Cross is the latest show based on a best-selling book series on the streamer, following the likes of Bosch (Harry Bosch by Michael Connelly), Reacher (Jack Reacher by Lee Childs), Jack Ryan (Ryanverse by Tom Clancy). It is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Paramount Television Studios and Skydance Television. Showrunner Watkins is an executive producer, as also are Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn and Craig Siebels, James Patterson, Bill Robinson and Patrick Santa for James Patterson Entertainment and David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Bill for Skydance Television
