Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is poised to captivate audiences with his forthcoming film, Costao. The producers have recently unveiled a compelling trailer that highlights how Nawazuddin’s character strives to dismantle a major gold smuggling operation in Goa, while simultaneously battling against the very system he is a part of.

Nawazuddinportrays Costao Fernandes, a customs officer who confronted Goa's most formidable smuggling syndicate during the 1990s. The trailer illustrates his strategy to dismantle the gold smuggling operation, only to be betrayed by the very system he serves and wrongfully charged with murder. Consequently, he must battle against both the corrupt establishment and the criminal underworld, all while striving to safeguard his family.

In sharing the trailer, ZEE5 stated, "This is the tale of a true hero, a Customs Officer who challenged an entire crime network. This is more than just a struggle; it is a legacy forged through sacrifice."

 Directed by debutant Sejal Shah, the film features Priya Bapat, Kishore Kumar G, Gagan Dev Riar, and Hussain Dalal in key roles. Produced by Bhanushali Studios Limited in collaboration with Bombay Fables Motion Pictures, the movie is scheduled to premiere on ZEE5 on May 1st.
