ETV Win announces Constable Kanakam

Now, ETV Win is in the spotlight once more as it announced its new original, Constable Kanakam. This upcoming project stars Varsha Bollamma in the lead role, where she portrays a junior police officer. The regular shooting for the film commenced with a simple pooja ceremony at Ramoji Film City.

Directed by Prasanth Kumar Dimmala, the film features music composed by Suresh Bobbili and cinematography by Sriram Mukkupati. Known for her roles in romantic and family dramas, Varsha Bollamma takes on a serious role for the first time, placing high hopes on this project.

Constable Kanakam follows the story of a small-town female cop who takes on a complex case and solves it with her wit and determination. Rajeev Kanakala will appear in a pivotal role, while Kovelamudi Satya Saibaba and Veturi Hemanth Kumar are producing the film on a modest budget. The makers will soon reveal additional cast and crew details.

The film is set to be a direct digital release on ETV Win, with a planned launch in the summer of 2025.
