Committee Kurrollu is the latest sleeper hit in Telugu cinema which has been produced by Niharika Konidela. Featuring all newcomers in lead roles, the film has made just over Rs 25 crore at the box office and is still playing at a few theaters in Telugu states.

The village drama was directed by Yadu Vamsi, and we at OTTplay had already reported that ETV Win has bagged the OTT rights to the film for a dance price. Now the news is that Niharika has struck a solid deal and has landed in massive profits thanks to the OTT deal.

The news is also that ETV Win will make this film available from September 12, 2024. Committee Kurrollu is a village drama that is about a group of eleven friends who get separated due to a very small caste-based issue and form groups. How they get back together is the basic story of the film.

Yadu Vamsi has superbly showcased the emotions though the film has a very routine story. Niharika Konidela spent close to Rs 10 crore on the project and the film was in the making for over a year and a half. The likes of Chiranjeevi have praised the film.

Speaking in an interview, Chiranjeevi stated that he liked the pre-interval episode in a very big way. Niharika was going through a rough patch when this film started. She got separated from his husband but stuck her guns and backed the young talent until the release of her film.

Well, Committee Kurrollu will soon be out on ETV Win and we need to see how the hit film fares on OTT. On the other hand, Niharika Konidela is ready with her next series Bench Life which will stream on Sony Liv on the same September 12, 2024. Let's see what happens.
