This remarkable achievement showcases the film's huge popularity, even after its time in theaters. Plus, a source from Zee5 mentioned that the movie attracted 1.5 million viewers in less than 12 hours, breaking another record for the platform.

Big movies usually hit 100 million streaming minutes within a couple of days after they drop on OTT platforms, but Sankranthiki Vasthunnam hitting that mark in under 10 hours is seriously impressive. With the weekend coming up, it’s likely to break even more records soon.

On top of that, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam premiered on TV at the same time as its OTT launch, which really boosted its visibility. A bunch of clips from the film have gone viral, especially the funny scenes added in the final version, and people are sharing them all over social media.
