Shortly following its release in theaters, Vikram's Tamil action thriller Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 is poised to launch on digital platforms in India. In under a month, audiences will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the film's action and drama.

Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 heads to the OTT world

 On Friday, it was announced that the Tamil action-thriller film will be accessible for streaming on Prime Video. The film features Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role, accompanied by a skilled cast that includes S. J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dushara Vijayan, and Prudhvi Raj.

Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 is scheduled to be available for streaming in over 240 countries and territories worldwide, starting April 24. It will be presented in Tamil, along with dubbed versions in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Created by S. U. Arun Kumar, this survival thriller is packed with gripping action scenes. The film, starring actor Vikram, encountered legal issues just a day before its release when B4U requested an interim injunction from the Delhi High Court. After these issues were addressed, the film premiered on March 27. In terms of box office success, Sacnilk indicates that the film generated ₹40.95 crore in its first five days of release.

Veera Dheera Sooran, also known as Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, is helmed by director SU Arun Kumar. The film features a musical score by GV Prakash Kumar and includes performances by SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu (marking his debut in Tamil cinema), Dushara Vijayan, and Siddique. A prequel, Part 1, is planned but has not yet commenced production. The narrative centers on Kaali, a provision store owner and devoted family man entangled in a perilous crime syndicate and a cryptic mission. Set during a temple festival in Madurai, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 explores the life of Kaali, a caring husband and father. However, his past troubles resurface when his former crime boss, Periyavar Ravi, re-enters his life, pulling Kaali back into a dangerous world he believed he had escaped.
