We at OTTplay were the first ones to report that star hero Chiranjeevi will do a film in the production of his daughter Sushmita Konidela. Kalyan Krishna of Soggade Chinni Nayana and Bangararju fame was supposed to direct the film. But sadly, Chiranjeevi did not like the final draft narrated by the director, and the project was called off. Sushmita Konidela was hugely disappointed but she did not lose hope. 

Chiranjeevi to act under Mohan Raja's direction

Chiranjeevi is now busy shooting his new film, Vishwambhara, directed by Vassistha. Apart from this film, Chiranjeevi has yet to announce any other project. But we have learned that he has locked his next with Tamil director Mohan Raja and his daughter Sushmita will produce the film.

Chiranjeevi to work with Mohan Raja for the second time

Going into details, writer BVS Ravi penned a script along with director Mohan Raja and took it to Chiranjeevi. The star hero loved the script but asked for changes. After reworking the script, BVS Ravi took the script again to Chiranjeevi for a final narration. The news is that the megastar loved the final narration and has given the go-ahead to Mohan Raja.

The project has been locked and will be announced in the days to come. This is not the first time that Chiranjeevi would be acting under Mohan Raja's direction. The duo teamed up for the hit film Godfather, which was the official remake of the Malayalam hit Lucifer. Chiranjeevi loved the way Mohan Raja showcased him in the film and praised his directorial skills. 

Now, they will work on an original script. As reported, Chiranjeevi's daughter, Sushmita Konidela, will produce this film on a massive scale. It has been her long-held dream to produce a film with her dad, and it looks like it has finally come true after much delay. She along with her husband will produce the film on a massive scale. 

As of now, Chiranjeevi has taken some time off from the shoot of Vishwambhara and is eagerly waiting to see the 2024 AP elections results as his brother and star hero, Pawan Kalyan, has contested from the Pithapuram constituency in Andhra. The election results will be out on June 4, 2024. Watch this space for more updates.
