Chhorii 2, the follow-up season to the horror thriller Chhorii, is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 11. The creators unveiled the trailer today, April 3, which highlights more intense and sinister confrontations with supernatural entities. The gripping narrative, featuring Nushrratt Bharuccha and Soha Ali Khan, appears captivating in the trailer, promising fans a more profound exploration of this horror thriller in the upcoming season.

The trailer for Chhorii 2 presents Nushrratt Bharuccha and Soha Ali Khan in a significantly darker narrative. This upcoming season will explore an enhanced version of its intricate suspenseful storytelling. The new installment investigates the chilling aspects of folklore, supernatural dread, and the unwavering determination of a mother confronting incomprehensible forces. The trailer depicts Nushrratt confronting sinister supernatural entities in her quest to protect her daughter, while Soha's enigmatic Daasi Ma character intensifies the suspense.

Nushrratt Bharuccha on Chhorii 2

Speaking about her Sakshi character, Nushrratt Bharuccha shared, “Returning as Sakshi in Chhorii 2 has been one of the most intense yet rewarding experiences of my career. After 7 years of tirelessly protecting her child, Sakshi’s deepest fear comes true, which adds a whole new level of emotion and intensity to the narrative."

She also added that the horror in this installment feels darker, more powerful, and very real because it taps into a mother’s worst nightmare. "Vishal has masterfully woven spine-chilling moments with raw emotions making the story a gripping blend of survival, love, and the lengths a mother will go to protect her child," she added. 

Soha Ali Khan on Chhorii 2

Upon joining the cast of Chhorii 2, Soha expressed that her character possesses multiple layers, embodying both menace and mystery. She described her role as Daasi Ma as unpredictable, which adds to the intrigue of portraying this character on screen. "Vishal has created a universe where fear infiltrates from every direction, and being involved in this project has enabled me to discover a wholly new aspect of myself as an actor," she remarked.

Chhorii 2 takes place seven years after the events of the original film, focusing on Sakshi (Nushrratt Bharuccha) and her daughter Ishani as they attempt to escape their troubled past. However, they are inevitably pulled back into a dark realm dominated by superstition and supernatural elements. Sakshi is faced with the challenge of saving her daughter from these malevolent forces.

The film is produced by T-Series, Abundantia Entertainment, Psych, and Tamarisk Lane Production, with Vishal Furia directing. In addition to Nushrratt and Soha, the cast includes Gashmeer Mahajani, Saurabh Goyal, Pallavi Ajay, Kuldeep Sareen, and Hardika Sharma.
