Vicky Kaushal's new movie Chhaava is one of the most awaited films of the year, and fans can't wait for it to hit theaters. On Sunday, the actor shared some exciting news about advance ticket sales starting at Chitra Cinema in Dadar, Mumbai. It was a significant moment since the film's journey kicked off at the same place, where they unveiled the teaser for Chhaava on August 15, 2024, coinciding with the release of Stree 2.
Vicky shared his thoughts on the occasion, saying, "This is a special moment for us because we wanted to share something meaningful. The journey of Chhaava started right here. When we released the teaser at Chitra Cinema on August 15, 2024, alongside Stree 2, the love and support from the audience meant a lot to us. Now, as we get closer to Chhaava Diwas, we’re returning to where it all began."
Vicky Kaushal opened up about his role in Chhaava, saying, "It’s a real honor to take on this character. I’m thankful to Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijan for giving me this chance. In Maharashtra, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is a well-known figure from the Maratha Empire, but it’s crucial for kids everywhere to learn about our kings, their achievements, and the impact they had. Today’s youth and future generations need to know what our warriors did so we can celebrate these moments together."
He highlighted the film's role in keeping history alive: "This movie is not just for entertainment; it’s our responsibility to carry forward the legacy of our kings and warriors. This is our little contribution to that cause."
Vicky wrapped up by inviting everyone to see the film: "We really hope you’ll come out to watch Chhaava, and together, we can honor this legacy."
His enthusiasm for bringing historical figures to life and paying tribute to their legacies is evident as he invites everyone to join in this cinematic adventure and honor the bravery of India’s kings and warriors. The film is set to release in theaters on February 14, 2025.
