The title "Chhaava," meaning "Lion Cub" in Marathi, symbolizes Sambhaji's fierce and valiant spirit. Chhaava cast

In Chhaava, Vicky Kaushal will portray Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire, who ruled from 1681 to 1689. Rashmika Mandanna will depict the character of Maharani Yesubai, the wife of Sambhaji Maharaj.

Akshaye Khanna's portrayal of Aurangzeb is expected to be particularly captivating, as Aurangzeb was the sixth Mughal emperor, reigning from 1658 until his death in 1707.

Ashutosh Rana is set to portray the character of Hambirrao Mohite. Diana Penty will take on the role of Zinat-un-Nissa Begum, the daughter of Aurangzeb.
