The teaser for Chhaava is finally out, and mind you, it's worth the wait! The historical drama is based on the life and times of Maratha Emperor Sambhaji, son of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and Vicky Kaushal plays the titular role. The teaser gives a glimpse into the breathtaking roar of a lion's cub, and it echoes throughout the minute-long video. Laxman Utekar directs the film, and the teaser confirms the release date as December 6, 2024.

Vicky Kaushal has Sambhaji Maharaj

In the teaser, we see the fearless Kaushal as Sambhaji Maharaj, who is a one-man army fighting against the Mughals. His ferocious look and the never-before-seen avatar are just enough to get me excited for the film, as it deserves. Furthermore, the teaser concludes with Akshaye Khanna in an unrecognisable role as Aurangzeb, preparing to battle Kaushal's character in the film.

Earlier, Mandanna penned a heartfelt note after wrapping the shoot for the film. While praising Utekar, the actor revealed that the filmmaker recognised her as Yesubai, a recognition that no one else could have predicted, leaving her and everyone else puzzled as to how this happened. The entire nation will be amazed at how it happened, but those visuals really moved her. He has elicited an emotional response from her, and she can't wait for everyone to see it.

Mandanna, speaking about Kaushal as Maharaj, gushed about how much fun it was to work with the actor. Collaboration with him has been an absolute delight. On the majority of the days, he was exceptional; however, on the one occasion when he was solely handling her case, he was incredibly kind and welcoming. Mandanna called him simply wonderful, and her best wishes will always be with him, as it was a pleasure working with him.
