Chhaava, featuring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, is hitting theaters tomorrow (February 14). Directed by Laxman Utekar, this historical epic is one of the most awaited films of the year. It tells the story of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Just a day before its release, we've learned where Chhaava will be available for streaming after its time in theaters wraps up.

Chhaava has announced its OTT partner!

Chhaava, made by Maddock Films, is set to hit Netflix after it finishes its time in theaters. Typically, movies take about 45 to 60 days to make their way to streaming platforms. However, the creators haven't revealed the official release date for Chhaava on OTT yet.

This historical drama showcases Vicky Kaushal in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while Rashmika Mandanna plays Maharani Yesubai. Akshaye Khanna takes on the part of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. The cast is rounded out by Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Rana, and a few more talented actors.

Rashmika opened up in an interview with ANI about the tough times she had while portraying Maharani Yesubai in Chhaava.

The actress shared, "In all my past films, I was the one crafting my character, but this time, it was different—Yesubai was already a well-defined figure. There’s nothing of Rashmika in her. We’ve read about these historical figures, but we’ve never actually seen them. I had to figure out how the Maharani moved, spoke, and showed her feelings."

"Laxman sir was there to guide me every step of the way. I really let myself trust him," she continued. Rashmika also mentioned that her costume and jewelry were designed in a way that made it easy for her to step into Yesubai’s shoes.
