Chhaava box office collection on day seven: The historical action film featuring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna is achieving remarkable success at the box office. Recently, Chhaava has surpassed the ₹200 crore milestone in India, reinforcing its status as a significant box office triumph.

According to the trade tracking platform Sacnilk, the film garnered approximately ₹19.61 crore (nett) on its seventh day across all languages, bringing the total to ₹217.36 crore. The Hindi version experienced an overall occupancy rate of 23.42 per cent on Thursday.
Morning screenings saw a footfall of 17.25 per cent, while the afternoon shows recorded 24.14 per cent, and evening screenings reached 28.88 per cent. Notably, the film crossed the ₹100 crore threshold within just three days of its release on February 14, where it opened with ₹31 crore.
On the international front, the film's global box office performance is also impressive, having exceeded the ₹250 crore mark worldwide. Furthermore, it has become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, surpassing Akshay Kumar's Sky Force, which previously held the record with ₹168 crore, thus establishing itself as Bollywood's top film of the year.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, the historical drama Chhaava features a remarkable cast, with Vicky Kaushal portraying Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Akshaye Khanna as Emperor Aurangzeb. The film also includes notable performances by Rashmika Mandanna, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ashutosh Rana, Neil Bhoopalam, and Diana Penty in significant roles. After its release in theatres on February 14, Chhaava received a range of reviews from critics, while audiences responded with overwhelming enthusiasm.
Recently, Vicky Kaushal shared a collaborative post on Instagram with Maddock Films, detailing the extensive six-month preparation process that took place behind the scenes. He described the horse riding sessions as "extremely rigorous," which also included weapons training. The actor was observed practising action sequences alongside crew members, stating, “On each day there was about 6-8 hours of training work.”
He further mentioned that he often returned home to discover new injuries on his body due to the intense action training for the film. “The level of discipline that has entered my life is unprecedented,” Vicky remarked. He was seen diligently training between scenes, even while in makeup. The film has been designated as tax-free in both Madhya Pradesh and Goa.
