The unstoppable force that is Chhaava persists in its momentum. On the sixth day following its release—Wednesday—Chhaava surpassed the ₹250 crore milestone globally, establishing itself as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, all achieved within its inaugural week.

Laxman Utekar's film Chhaava has achieved a nett collection of ₹197.75 crore (grossing ₹237 crore) in the domestic market within its first six days, as reported by Sacnilk. The film experienced a significant increase in revenue on Wednesday, coinciding with a public holiday in Maharashtra for Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti. Since Maharashtra has been a leading contributor to Chhaava's collections since its debut, the holiday provided a substantial uplift to the film's national earnings. On Wednesday, Chhaava garnered ₹32 crore nett in India, reflecting a robust 27% increase from Tuesday's collection of ₹25.25 crore.
In international markets, Chhaava has also performed admirably, amassing over $4 million (approximately ₹33 crore). Although the overseas collections do not match the strength of the domestic market, they have contributed to the film's total worldwide earnings of ₹270 crore. It is anticipated that the film will surpass the ₹300-crore milestone by the end of Thursday.

Chhava's earnings reported on Wednesday have established it as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, surpassing the Telugu film Sankranthiki Vasthunam. The film, featuring Daggubati Venkatesh, had previously achieved box office earnings exceeding ₹252 crore, as noted by Sacnilk. Remarkably, Chhava reached this milestone in just six days and is anticipated to increase its lead in the forthcoming days and weeks. Additionally, Chhava had previously outperformed Akshay Kumar's Sky Force, which had garnered ₹168 crore, thereby securing its position as Bollywood's top film of 2025.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava features Vicky Kaushal in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while Akshaye Khanna portrays Emperor Aurangzeb. The cast also includes notable performances by Rashmika Mandanna, Vineet Kumar Singh, Ashutosh Rana, Neil Bhoopalam, and Diana Penty in significant roles. The film premiered in theatres on February 14 and received a range of reviews from critics, varying from mixed to positive, yet garnered substantial acclaim from the audience.
