Shivarajkumar's latest flick, Bhairathi Ranagal, hit theaters on November 25 and has been doing pretty well at the box office. This film, produced by his own company, Geetha Pictures, serves as a prequel to director Narthan’s Mufti, where Shivarajkumar portrayed the notorious crime lord Bhairathi Ranagal, a wanted figure who also acts as a protector for the folks in Ronapura.

In this prequel, Narthan dives into Ranagal’s backstory, showing his life before he embraced the violent persona of a crime lord. The song Agnyaathavaasa highlights key moments from his early days, showcasing how Ranagal attempted to leverage his law degree to make a positive impact on the community in Ronapura.

There’s a lot going on in Agnyathavaasa, from the Ranagal promise symbolized by a watch that changes hands to the connections he forms, like with Singa (played by Madhu Guruswamy) and his sister Vedavathi. The visuals really capture all these relationships. The song is now available in both Telugu and Tamil versions.

Recently, there were whispers that Bhairathi Ranagal might be heading to OTT soon. It seems Amazon Prime Video has snagged the digital rights, and they’re considering a Christmas day launch for the film. So, it makes sense that the team is rolling out full music videos to build some buzz around it.

Shivarajkumar is currently on medical leave following the release of Bhairathi Ranagal. He’s dealing with a health issue that he’s been getting treatment for. While promoting the film, the Hattrick Hero opened up about his condition and mentioned that he’s due for surgery. He plans to travel to the US on December 18 and should be back by late January or early February.
