The long-anticipated Coolie update for Rajinikanth's birthday has finally arrived! The Coolie team dropped a short music video from the film titled Chikkitu Vibe, featuring vocals by T Rajendar.

Rajinikanth is collaborating with Lokesh Kanagaraj for Coolie!

Actor Rajinikanth is celebrating his birthday this Thursday and is currently collaborating with director Lokesh Kanagaraj on a movie called Coolie. To mark the occasion, the film's team dropped a short music video titled Chikkitu Vibe. The legendary filmmaker T Rajendar lends his voice to the track, while Arivu, who wrote the lyrics, also sings alongside Anirudh Ravichander.

The teaser, which is almost a minute long, kicks off with Rajendar's iconic beats, showcasing Rajinikanth dancing with a lively group. It definitely has a festive vibe, but we don’t get to see much more than that.

Coolie features Rajinikanth in the main role, with Lokesh Kanagaraj taking the reins as both writer and director. This is the first collaboration between the director and the superstar. It's worth mentioning that a leaked video from the film's set had been making the rounds on social media, but Lokesh Kanagaraj has asked fans not to share or support that kind of behavior.

Coolie: Essential Information.

Coolie boasts an impressive cast, featuring Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, and Nagarjuna. Recent buzz suggests that Bollywood star Aamir Khan has also joined the film's production, which is currently taking place in Jaipur. It's worth mentioning that Lokesh has previously stated that Coolie won't be part of his LCU film series.

Produced by Sun Pictures, the movie's soundtrack is by Anirudh Ravichander. Set to be a gangster action drama, Coolie marks Rajinikanth’s 171st film as the lead. The technical team includes Girish Gangadharan as the cinematographer and the National Award-winning stunt coordinators Anbariv.

As for the release date, the Coolie team hasn't revealed anything yet, but it's anticipated to hit theaters sometime in 2025.
